§ 33. Mr. WHYTEasked whether the Scottish Education Bill will be introduced immediately?
§ The SECRETARY for SCOTLAND (Mr. Munro)I would refer my hon. Friends to the answer which I gave on the 16th instant to the right hon. Member for Dumfries Burghs.
§ Mr. HOGGECan the right hon. Gentleman not give some more definite date as to when he expects to introduce this Bill?
§ Mr. MUNROIt is being reconsidered in view of the present opposition to the administrative provisions. The educational provisions have been well received, and I am very anxious that even in the matter of administration the Bill should go through with a minimum of friction and a maximum of agreement.
