Mr. NEEDHAMasked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been drawn to the hardship caused by the Status of Aliens Act, 1914, on children born abroad on or after 1st January, 1915, of British fathers, themselves born in a foreign country, with the result that their children cannot be registered as 545 British subjects; and whether he will introduce legislation to remedy this hardship?
