§ Dr. MACNAMARAActive service and pensioned naval ratings who are employed by the Admiralty on overseeing duties at ordinary naval rates of pay and who do not receive free replacements of clothing in kind are entitled to kit upkeep allowance at rates based primarily on the expense to which they are necessarily put for the maintenance of their clothing.
