HARVEYasked the Under secretary of State to the Air Ministry whether skilled mechanics who have enlisted for service in the Royal Air Force in response to advertisements are being at once transferred to the Infantry; and, if so, whether any steps can be taken to prevent this and to redress the hardship that has occurred in individual cases?
§ Major BAIRDI am not aware that any such cases have occurred, but if the hon. Member will furnish me with particulars I shall be very glad to investigate them.
