§ Mr. MACPHERSONI am afraid my hon. and gallant Friend is misinformed. Officer cadets stationed at Crookham receive fourteen days' leave before joining, eight days' leave at half-term, and when they pass out, after six months, a further ten days' leave prior to being gazetted as officers. In six or seven months, therefore, cadets receive three periods of leave, and are generously treated in this respect. All cadets also received leave at Christmas. I am afraid I do not understand the second part of my hon. and gallant Friend's question, as cadets are stationed at Crookham for six months only, being the duration of the course of training.
