§ 37. Captain WRIGHTasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food the names of the members of the Committee recently appointed to inquire into the supply and distribution of milk; the terms of reference; and if the Committee's Report may be expected at an early date?
§ Mr. CLYNESI presume that the hon. Member refers to the Sub-Committee recently appointed to consider the question of the control of the wholesale distribution of milk. I am sending him a list of the names of its members, and this will be printed in the OFFICIAL REPORT. Its terms of reference are to consider:
- (1) The immediate steps necessary for the control of the collection, utilisation, and distribution of milk sold by wholesale.
1843 - (2) The need for establishing new depots, and the geographical allocation of such depots.
§ The answer to the last part of the question is in the affirmative.
