Resolved, "That it is expedient to authorise the payment, out of moneys to be provided by Parliament, of an annual Salary, not exceeding £2,000, to the Secretary of the Overseas Trade Department appointed under any Act of the present Session, to make provision for the joint appointment by the Board of Trade and the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of a Secretary of the Overseas Trade Department."—[Sir A.
