Sir A. STANLEYThe Prime Minister has asked me to answer this question. I have appointed a Controller of Paper, who will take over the functions of the Royal Commission on Paper in controlling the supply and distribution of paper and paper making materials.
Sir A. STANLEYYes; but I am glad to say that its members have kindly consented to serve on an advisory committee to the Paper Controller.

Sir A. STANLEYI think we shall be able to take steps with a view to making some arrangement whereby we can co-ordinate the demands of all Government Departments
§ Sir H. CRAIKMay I ask whether the Minister of Munitions will be subordinate to the Chief Commissioner of Paper with regard to the supply?
Sir A. STANLEYI have consulted the Minister of Munitions, and he has agreed that the staff at the Ministry of Munitions engaged in dealing with paper matters for that Department shall be transferred to the Paper Controller.
