asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he can, during the course of discussion on the Vote of Credit, announce the amount of the financial interests of this country in Russia and the steps being taken or contemplated for preserving those interests and for enlarging commercial and cultural relations with Russia in the future?

The answer is in the negative. As I have already stated, I do not think that it would be right to give this information.
