§ Mr. BONAR LAWThe Chief Secretary is at present in Ireland, as is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Home Forces, and the information received by the Government is to the effect that the measures which have been taken are having the desired result.

§ Mr. BONAR LAWI think it is hardly necessary to answer that question. It is the full intention of the Government to maintain order in Ireland, as in every other part of the United Kingdom.
