Mr. ROWLANDSasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions whether he is aware that eviction of the working classes is still taking place in the Dartford area and that these people are mainly munition workers; and, in order to prevent this continuing, will Regulation 2A of the Defence of the Realm Act be applied to the area?
§ Mr. KELLAWAYA full investigation has now been made, and it has been decided that the urban district of Erith and the urban and rural districts of Dartford should be declared to be special areas for the purposes of Regulation 2A of the Defence of the Realm Regulations.
