§ 39. Mr. WATT
asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether his Department has in contemplation granting an extra ration of food to the 1220 girls of the nation between thirteen and seventeen years of age in the same way as it has been granted to boys; and, if not, will he say the reason of this, in view of the necessity of preserving the health and strength of the future mothers of the race?
§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of FOOD (Mr. Clynes)
Yes, Sir. I am consulting my advisers on this matter.
