§ Mr. STEPHEN WALSHA Committee has been appointed by the Minister of Reconstruction to consider and report upon the defects in the existing system of law and practice involved in the acquisition and valuation of land for public purposes. That Committee has made a Report, but this does not deal with the question of valuation for the purposes of purchase. This matter, it is understood, will be dealt with in a subsequent Report, on receipt of which the question of any alteration of the law on the subject will be considered.
