HC Deb 17 June 1918 vol 107 c6
2. Major WHELER

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the export of pedigree live stock from this country is to be further restricted; and if so, will he state the extent of the new restrictions?

Captain Viscount WOLMER (Assistant-Director, War Trade Department)

My right hon. Friend has asked me to answer this question. Proposals to restrict this trade to the average figures of the years 1915–1917 have recently been under consideration, but it has been decided that such a step would be undesirable. Therefore no new restrictions are in contemplation.
