Mr. KINGasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the United States has now ratified the Military Convention with this country, signed at Washington on 19th February, 1918; if not, what is the cause of the delay; and, failing a speedy ratification, whether he will consider withdrawing from the Convention?
§ The MINISTER of BLOCKADE (Lord Robert Cecil)As the Senate of the United States desired certain amendments to be introduced into the Convention which was signed in February, an amended Convention was signed at Washington on 3rd June. This will be ratified as soon as possible.
