§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Mr. Macpherson)The number of qualified dental surgeons who hold commissions in the Army is 640; of these, ninety-two have received their commissions since the 1st March last, including twenty-six from the ranks. As regards the last part of the question, inquiry is being made.
§ Mr. WHYTEAre we to understand that 640 represents the total number of dentists employed professionally in the British Army? It is scandalous !
