HC Deb 04 June 1918 vol 106 c1417
Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

Can the right hon. Gentleman say what Supply will be taken on Thursday?

Mr. BONAR LAW

We propose to take the Ministry of Food Vote.

Colonel WEDGWOOD

When is the Indian Budget likely to be taken?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I cannot at present say.

Mr. KING

Will it be taken at all? It has not been taken since the War. May we have it as a variety?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I should think, if it has not been taken since the War began, that that is probably a reason for not taking it now.

Mr. PRINGLE

When will the Scottish Education Bill be taken?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am sorry that I cannot make a statement at present respecting that Bill.

Colonel WEDGWOOD

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the Secretary of State for India stated yesterday in this House that there would be an opportunity for discussing the proposed reforms in India?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am not aware of that.

Mr. H. SAMUEL

Will the House sit on Friday?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I think that it will be necessary, but I cannot say yet.
