Mr. MACLEODasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider the advisability of creating an asset trust company, similar to that created at the time of the liquidation of the City of Glasgow Bank, to purchase all the remaining assets of the enemy banks, and so expedite the winding-up of the enemy banks.
