Major NEWMANasked the Prime Minister whether the undertaking that the Government will denounce all commercial conventions containing a clause regarding most-favoured nations has been or is immediately to be carried into effect; and, provided this is done, will he say what is the interval of time that must elapse before this country is freed of its present commercial conventions with the following countries: Switzerland, Spain, Holland, the Scandinavian kingdoms, the Argentine Republic, and other neutral Mid and South American countries?
