§ The SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Sir G. Cave)I should like to put to you, Sir, a point of Order as to the procedure upon the remainder of these Amendments. I think it would be for the convenience of the House if, after concluding the consideration of the few Amendments which remain to be dealt with on Clause 18, on which we are now engaged, we went back to the beginning of the Amendment Paper. I imagine it would be open to me at that period to move that the remainder of the Amendments should be postponed, so that they might take their place after the-first Amendments on the Paper.
§ Mr. SPEAKERThat would be the right way of doing it. The House would then begin at the beginning, and, of course, any Amendments relating to this Clause would have been disposed of.
