§ The PARLIAMENTARI SECRETARY to the LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. S. Walsh)I have been asked to answer this question. Two hundred and eighty-four appeals in all on the ground of conscientious objection have been received by the Central Tribunal. It would necessitate looking up each case to state in what number the claim was for 1720 absolute exemption. The 2entral Tribunal have not granted absolute exemption in any case.
