- (1) Each of the areas mentioned in the first column of the First Part of the Fifth Schedule to this Act shall be a Parliamentary borough returning the number of members specified opposite thereto in the said Schedule, and where so provided in the Schedule shall be divided into the divisions specified therein, and each such division shall return one member.
- (2) Each of the areas mentioned in the first column of the Second Part of the Fifth Schedule to this Act shall be a Parliamentary county returning the number of members specified opposite thereto in the said Schedule, and where so provided in the Schedule shall be divided into the divisions specified therein, and each such division shall return one member.
- (3) Each of the universities and combinations of universities mentioned in the Third Part of the Fifth Schedule to this Act shall be a constituency returning the number of members specified opposite thereto in the said Schedule.
§ Lords Amendments:
§ In Sub-section (1), leave out the words "of the First Part of the Fifth Schedule to this Act shall be a Parliamentary borough," and insert instead thereof the words "of the Ninth Schedule to this Act shall he a separate constituency."—Disagreed with.
