§ The MINISTER of PENSIONS (Mr.Hodge)The answers to the first and third parts of the question are in the affirmative. Sometimes suspension of pension payments is due to the failure of the pensioner to comply with certain limited but necessary formalities, and sometimes to accident or carelessness. Every effort is made to reduce, and with some measure of success, the number of cases in which suspension or delay occurs.
