HC Deb 17 January 1918 vol 101 cc480-1
26. Mr. GEORGE FABER

asked the Home Secretary whether Mr. Laszlo's case has been reconsidered by the Advisory Committee; and whether Mr. Laszlo is still interned?

Sir G. CAVE

The answer to both parts of the question is in the affirmative. I have decided, on the recommendation of the Advisory Committee, that the internment order in this case must remain in force.

27. Mr. FABER

asked the Home Secretary whether Baron von Bissing's health is now sufficiently restored to allow of his being re-interned, or whether lie still remains in a nursing home?

Sir G. CAVE

This man is still in weak health, and remains in the nursing home.

Mr. FABER

Can the right hon. Gentleman tell me whether in the nursing home he is allowed any access to the telephone?

Sir G. CAVE

No, he is under very strict conditions.
