HC Deb 17 January 1918 vol 101 c491
57. Mr. CURRIE

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether representations have been made to him concerning the continued difficulties encountered by county councils, etc., in Scotland owing to the non-publication of the new Treasury Regulations regarding Government Stocks; and what answer has been returned to the same?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I have stated, in reply to a recent inquiry from a county council, that I have every expectation that the Regulations will meet the difficulty they have experienced. I may add that the Regulations are almost completed, and will very shortly be laid before the House.
