§ Mr. DUKEThe Orders at present in force in Ireland under the Maintenance of Live Stock Act, 1915, prohibit the slaughter or exportation, except under licence, of the following classes of animals: Sucking calves, young female cattle up to a certain stage of development, incalf cattle, milch cows, and breeding sows. The prohibition in case of need of export of grain and other food products is a matter for the consideration of the Ministry of Food
