§ Mr. CLYNESThere are no figures available which would enable me to answer the first part of the question. The application of scientific methods of food preservation in order to prevent wastage is under 'investigation by a Committee of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, on which the Ministry of food is represented. The cold storage accommodation has already been increased and will be increased still further.
