§ Mr. PROTHEROThe Board have no authority to sanction the exhibition of lights. The decision in this matter rests with the naval authorities, to whom the Board have made several representations as to the difficulties under which the fishermen are working.
§ Colonel BURNWill my right hon. Friend. assist matters in this respect, because it is a very serious thing to fishermen, who do not want to transgress the law, and who wish to add to the food of the people?
§ Mr. PROTHEROI quite agree that it is a serious thing for the fishermen, but there are certain considerations with the Admiralty as to the fixing of lights.
