HC Deb 26 February 1918 vol 103 c1256
Mr. D. MASON (by Private Notice)

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of Count Hertling's statement, as reported in to-day's Press, that we should be much nearer peace if proper responsible representatives of the belligerent Powers would meet in conclave for discussion, the Government will take steps to bring about such a conclave?

Sir G. CAVE

No notice of this question has reached me.

Mr. MASON

I am sorry. I sent in notice. I will give notice for to-morrow.
