HC Deb 20 February 1918 vol 103 c734
81. Mr. HUGH LAW

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether the Irish Government has received a Resolution. passed by magistrates in county Donegal in favour of an extension of the shooting season in respect of certain wild fowl (brent geese, bernicle, wild geese, and' widgeon) which do not breed in these islands; and whether any steps will be taken in the matter, in view of the general scarcity of food?

The CHIEF SECRETARY for IRELAND (Mr. Duke)

The Resolution does-not appear to have been received in my office yet. The matter dealt with has been already engaging the attention of the Departments concerned in the increase of food supplies, and any practicable action in the direction suggested by my hon. Friend will be taken.
