HC Deb 20 February 1918 vol 103 c743
77. Mr. ALDEN

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Pensions whether Sir John Collie is a whole-time officer of the Ministry of Pensions; if not, what other emoluments does he receive and from what bodies; and whether it is the policy of the Ministry of Pensions to place men in such important positions who are not giving their whole time to the service of the State?

The MINISTER of PENSIONS (Mr. Hodge)

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The remainder of the question, therefore, does not arise.
