HC Deb 19 February 1918 vol 103 c602
29 and 30. Captain CARR-GOMM

asked (1) what financial profit has been made out of the Government brush-making industry started for war prisoners in the Isle of Man; and how many prisoners are being employed in it; (2) what representatives of the brush-making industry were consulted by the Government before the brush-making factory for war prisoners was started in the Isle of Man?

Sir G. CAVE

I think that the points, raised in these two questions can best be dealt with at the interview which, as I informed the hon. and gallant Member on the 30th January, I hope to arrange shortly with the Brush Manufacturers' Association.
