HC Deb 14 February 1918 vol 103 cc267-8
55. Mr. ALDEN

asked the Prime Minister whether it is the intention of the Government before the end of the War to take steps to secure the formation of a League of Nations; and whether Lord Reading has been empowered to discuss the possible terms of such a league with the United States Government and to cooperate with the President in carrying out the views he has so often expressed?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I can add nothing to what was said by the Minister of Blockade on this subject yesterday.
