HC Deb 14 February 1918 vol 103 c311
Mr. ASQUITH

Will the right hon. Gentleman tell us whether the House is to meet to-morrow, and what is the business for next week?

Mr. BONAR LAW

If, as I hope, the Debate be finished to-day, it will not be necessary for the House to sit to-morrow. The business proposed to be taken next week is:

Monday—Supplementary Civil Service Estimates.

Tuesday—Speaker out of the Chair, on Army Estimates.

Wednesday—Supply: Army Estimates, Votes (A) and (1).

Thursday—Speaker out of the Chair, on Air Forces Estimates.

Mr. WHYTE

Can the right hon. Gentleman say when the Education (Scotland) Bill will be taken?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The hon. Member must realise that cannot be done until after the business of finance has been dealt with.

Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

Can the right hon. Gentleman say when the Bill for the denaturalisation of enemy aliens is to be brought in?

Mr. BONAR LAW

There is still an answer from one of the Dominions to come before steps can be taken.

Mr. KING

Will the right hon. Gentleman introduce the Education Bill for England before the Education Bill for Scotland? [HON. MEMBERS: "No, no!"] The Bill for England is of very much greater importance to this country.

Mr. BONAR LAW

It depends upon what the hon. Member means by "this country."

Mr. BILLING

Will the right hon. Gentleman say whether it is proposed to take the Criminal Law Amendment Bill in the present Session? [HON. MEMBERS: "Next Parliament!"]
