HC Deb 06 February 1918 vol 101 c2240
Mr. SPEAKER

The Representation of the People Bill is now before the House of Lords, and no action here is possible until the Bill has been returned with a Message. I have reason to believe that there will he no very great delay before that happens, and the Message comes with the Bill. I will have the bells rung in order that the House may be aware that we are able to resume business, and until that time I leave the Chair.

Sitting suspended at eighteen minutes after Three o'clock.

Mr. SPEAKER

resumed the Chair at Five o'clock.
