To ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether his attention has been called to the official statement issued in connection with the Education (Scotland) Bill with respect to the equivalent Grant for Scottish education; whether, in view of the fact that Scotland's equivalent Grant, being eleven-eightieths of £4,865,915, the excess of estimated expenditure for education in England and Wales in 1918–19 over 1913–14, is stated to amount to £669,063, he will state what is the amount of the equivalent Grant for Irish education; whether it has been allocated; and what is the exact amount of that equivalent Grant estimated to be expended in Ireland in the current financial year?
