To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the exemption of Irishmen resident in the United States and of Americans resident in Ireland from the provisions of the recent compulsory Military Service Convention was due to any representations made on behalf of the Government of the United States: and whether, under the terms of the Convention, the cancellation of these exemptions will automatically follow the enforcement of Conscription in Ireland?
