§ Mr. MACPHERSONI presume my hon. and gallant Friend is referring to the promotions in accordance with the instructions issued recently regarding the introduction of a general seniority list for officers of the Royal Army Medical Corps, Territorial Force. The promotion of the officers of the Territorial Force mentioned will take place as soon as possible after the receipt of the recommendations from the various theatres of war in which these officers are serving. Officers not selected for promotion will not be retired on that account.
