§ 25. Sir JOHN SPEARasked the President of the Local Government Board what is the annual value of agricultural land in England and Wales, the amount of the contributions to local taxation from such land, and the value of the produce; if he will state the animal value of the premises in which trade and manufacture in England and Wales are carried on and the amount of the contribution to local taxation on such premises; and will he also give the annual value in money of the turnover of trade in England and Wales?
Mr. FISHERBeyond saying that the rateable value of agricultural land in England and Wales according to the latest returns was about £24,000,000, I am afraid I am not in a position to give to my hon. Friend the information for which he asks.
