HC Deb 25 April 1918 vol 105 c1094
56. Mr. LOYD

asked the Minister of National Service whether, in appointing clerks to the new tribunals, he will, in the absence of any special reason to the contrary, utilise the local knowledge and experience of those who have acted in that capacity to the previous tribunals for the area in question by appointing them clerks to the new tribunal?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. S. Walsh)

I have been asked to answer this question. My right hon. Friend is anxious to utilise to the full the local knowledge and experience of men who have already been rendering such valuable service as clerks to tribunals.
