asked the Under-Secretary for War if unwounded prisoners are being brought back to this country; and, if so, whether he will arrange with the Commander-in-Chief to employ them behind the lines in France?

Mr. MACPHERSON

A certain number of unwounded prisoners are transferred from France to this country from time to time, but the greater number are retained for labour in France.
