HC Deb 23 April 1918 vol 105 c858
59. Mr. ANDERSON

asked the Minister of Munitions whether he is receiving resolutions from organised workers in the engineering trades deprecating his delay in redeeming his promise to introduce an amending Bill to the Munitions of War Act, authorising the fulfilment of pledges given in respect of the post-war restoration of trade union rules and conditions; and whether he is now in a position to announce his intentions in this matter, and to state when he proposes to introduce such legislation?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY Of MUNITIONS (Mr. KellaWay)

My right hon. Friend has received a number of resolutions of the nature referred to. He is anxious to introduce legislation as soon as Parliamentary business may permit. If my hon. Friend will putdown a question in a fortnight's time, I hope to be able to give a more definite undertaking.
