HC Deb 23 April 1918 vol 105 c863
Mr. McKENNA

Before putting a question to the Leader of the House, may I, as an old First Lord, venture to congratulate the Navy on a very gallant action. I desire to ask the Leader of the House what Bills will be taken to-morrow, and on what day will the Air Service debate be taken?

Mr. BONAR LAW

To-morrow, if there is time, in addition to the Rent Bill we propose to take the Workmen's Compensation Bill and the Food Profits Bill. We have arranged that the Air Vote shall be taken on Monday.

Mr. G. TERRELL

Can my right hon. Friend say when the Report stage of the Financial Resolutions will be taken?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I assume next week, but I cannot name the exact date.

Mr. LOUGH

Will the right hon. Gentleman give a little further time to the third Bill mentioned, which has only appeared on the Paper to-day? Perhaps a day next week might be found for it.

Mr. BONAR LAW

We will see how we get on to-morrow. I am not sanguine enough to expect that we will get all the three Bills.

Ordered, That the Proceedings of the Committee of Ways and Means, if under discussion at Eleven of the clock this night, be not interrupted under the Standing Order (Sittings of the House).x2014;[Mr. Bonar Law.]
