§ 35. Mr. FREDERICK WHYTEasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he has received representations urging him to set up one of the proposed potato-flour factories in Perth; and whether, in view of the favourable position of Perth both as regards adjacent potato-growing districts and as regards railway communications, he will accede to this request?
§ Mr. CLYNESRepresentations to this effect have been received. I cannot at present indicate with certainty the precise localities in which these factories will be established, but the intention is to instal them in districts which produce potatoes in excess of their own requirements, for the purpose of economising in transport.
§ Mr. CLYNESCertainly.
