HC Deb 09 April 1918 vol 104 c1326
Mr. DILLON

(by Private Notice) asked the Prime Minister whether he has received the Reports of the Irish Convention, and, if he has received these Reports, when they will be made public, and on what day he will be in a position to make a statement as to the Irish policy of His Majesty's Government?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Lloyd George)

I intend to deal with this subject in my speech this afternoon.

Mr. DILLON

Can the right hon. Gentleman say when he will make public the Reports of the Convention?

The PRIME MINISTER

I think that they will be laid on the Table of the House to-day, and they will be made public as soon as they can be printed.

Sir E. CARSON

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether there is more than one Report. Has a Minority Report also been received, and, if so, will that be laid on the Table?

The PRIME MINISTER

Whatever Reports there are will be laid on the Table of the House.

Mr. BYRNE

Why has the Report of the Convention been coupled with the speech of the right hon. Gentleman on the Military Service Bill?
