§ Mr. WARDLEGenerally speaking, the customer to whom the coal is supplied is responsible for the payment of accounts. In cases where there is reason to doubt the financial position of a customer, or where a customer's position may be insufficiently well known, arrangements have been made for responsibility for payment of accounts to be undertaken by local committees, or payment may be secured before the coal is delivered.
