asked the President of the Board of Agriculture when the restrictions at present placed on the supply of basic slag for use on grass land is likely to be removed?

Mr. PROTHERO

No restrictions have been placed on the supply of basic slag for use on grass land, though manufacturers have been asked to give precedence to the delivery of basic slag required for use in connection with the sowing of winter wheat.
