§ 16. Mr. KING
asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether General Sarrail still is in command of the Salonika expedition; what nations now contribute men to the Allied Forces on this Front; and whether the officer there commanding is assisted by an Allied headquarters staff, on which are officers of each national army engaged?
§ Mr. MACPHERSON
The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As to the second part, it is not within the competence of the War Office 196 to publish information as to the strength and distribution of Allied troops. The answer to the third part of the question is in the negative, but Commanders of Allied contingents have permanent liaison officers attached to General Sarrail.
