§ Mr. MACPHERSONThe clipping of horses overseas is left to the discretion of the Commander-in Chief of the Force. There is no evidence that clipping has led to loss of animals; on the contrary, the Commander-in-Chief at Salonika reports that the health of the animals, when clipping was introduced, compares most favourably with that of the year previous, when the majority were unclipped.
