HC Deb 20 March 1917 vol 92 cc23-4
83. Mr. CATHCART WASON

asked the Under-Secretary for War if he will inquire into the case of a gardener of delicate health who, after being exempted many times, was finally ordered to report for service, and was ordered to Bristol to work as a bricklayer's labourer; and whether, in view of the repeated speeches of the Secretary of the Board of Agriculture and the Secretary for War, he proposes to take any action in the matter?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I have not any details as regards this man, but I will make inquiries.
